Clam Harbour Beach is a long, beautiful white sand beach within the Halifax Regional Municipality. Each year the Clam Harbour Beach Sandcastle Competition attracts hundreds of contestants and thousands of spectators.

Schedule:


9:00 am - Park Gates Open


9:30 am - Shuttle Bus Service Starts


1:00 pm - Entertainment: "BIG FISH" performing on the main stage


3:00 pm - Judging Starts


4:30 pm - Awarding of Prizes
6:30 pm - Shuttle Service stops

There will be some parking restrictions in place on Clam Harbour Road and Beach Road from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Sunday, August 19, 2012. To make your experience getting to and from the beach better and to provide more parking oppotunities, a commplimentary shuttle bus service is being offered:

•Offered until approximately 6:30 pm. 
•Watch for the designated bus stops along Clam Harbour Road. 
•Please be advised that dogs or other pets are NOT permitted on the buses (Guide and Assistant Dogs are allowed on the buses). 
•Parking permitted on the right hand side (heading towards the beach) of Clam Harbour Road and Beach Road only.
